New Module for Team Tools!
Vancouver, Washington - The new LightSpeed Team Tools
paper module, Trainer Basics, debuted at a Weyerhaeuser sponsored event
held in Newbern, North Carolina. "It was very well received,"
module author Jim Armstrong observed. "The client was very happy with
the outcome."
Trainer Basics is designed to deepen the skills of any
trainer, from first-time team members to seasoned professionals. Participants
learn that they don't have to be an "expert" on a subject to facilitate
effective training. They see how to prepare for successful sessions with
dozens of practical tips including Room setup, Mental Preparation, Ice Breaking,
and Handling Mistakes. Thought-provoking case studies highlight ways to
apply training concepts in real world situations. They discover how enrich
their presentations with basic adult learning principles. They examine Disruptive
Behaviors and learn how to open discussions and unlock the training experience
by using the questions, concerns and challenges of course participants.
"It is a very powerful module," Armstrong added. "Even though
we tailored the approach to meet the needs of a specific organization, the
module addresses classic themes and concerns. It would be an asset for any
of our clients." Trainer Basics is offered by LightSpeed Learning and
can be facilitated by a LightSpeed Certified Consultant.
